Cub Mini Hike, Queen’s Birthday & Davenham Carnival

During the week of 6th – 10th June 2016, some groups in Mid Cheshire have been celebrating the 90th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth! Here is a picture of 1st Weaverham Beavers enjoying their celebrations.

Also on Saturday 11th June 2016, 1st Davenham Scout Group participated in the Davenham Carnival. The theme for their float was the Wild West and it looks like they had a great time!

The District Cub Scouts took part in their annual Cub Mini Hike during the same weekend. Despite getting very wet and tired, they all seemed to have lots of fun! Congratulations to Joseph, Ben and Tom, from 1st Lostock Gralam Cub Pack, who won the hike. Also, well done to all the other Cub Scouts who participated. Thank you to Gary (Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs) who organised the event and all of the adult volunteers that helped out! Read about it in the Northwich Guardian!
